seeking_buyerBrian Cowen, Ireland’s Prime Minister, has ‘not given up hope’ on finding a buyer for the beleaguered nation, as evidenced in photos on the website of the Roinn an Taoisigh.

Speaking after today’s three meetings with potential buyers, Cowen said:

“Well, the American chap was keen on setting us up as some sort of aircraft carrier off Europe, the two guys from the UK said they were just looking, and one seemed keener than the other.  The third guy sold me a timeshare in Marbella, which was nice.”
