Becoming a Mac user

I’m still a PC, but today I bought myself a MacBook Pro 13 inch. It is a stunningly beautiful piece of kit, and it is a pleasure to use. Mac OS X is a great operating system, and so much I have wanted to do today, to align my communications, to copy photographs and to undertake computing tasks, has ‘just worked’. It does, quite literally, just work.

But let’s face it, it’s a great OS on a nice laptop, and it was bloody expensive for what it is. Happily, it’s not Sony Vaio expensive, and its build quality is way better than I expected, and I was expecting a lot. So I’m not becoming an Apple fanboy just yet, though I certainly look forward to enjoying this beautiful chunk of glowing aluminium in the months and years to come.

And the backlit keyboard is a stunner.
