Tim Montgomerie over at ConservativeHome appears to have been the first to note that, instead of a funfair, five more years of Labour may be a fête worse than death. Ho ho ho etc. But as I covered last night, it was Iain Lindley, Conservative PPC for Worsley South and Eccles who pointed out first the idea of ‘fair’ being a silly choice of word in many senses for Labour.
