Nick Griffin, erstwhile leader of the UK’s leading practitioners of the politics that dare not speak its name (neofascism) has been, not for the first time, outed as a homosexual. Whether he is or is not is utterly immaterial to me, and should be to most sensible people.

Moreover, it should not be an impediment to his continued leadership of the British National Party. It would be a towering achievement for the BNP to be the only mainstream political party in the UK (the league to which the BNP aspires to membership) to be currently led by a gay man.

Of course, the BNP is primarily populated by people for whom the above argument was beyond comprehension, so who knows?
