Democrat comedian (and genuinely funny intelligent commentator) Al Franken must really wish he hadn’t bothered paying attention to the 2000 election debacle; it all seems dreadfully familiar.  Franken’s showing a current lead of 4 votes for the Minnesota seat on the US Senate, but that could all be flushed away.

For what it’s worth (very little) nabidana.com thinks there really ought to be a run-off election here, to sort it all out.  Unfair on the candidates, possibly, but every voice surely needs to be heard.  For the record, we’d be voting for Franken.
