I fell in love with the desk mess thing when i saw it, and felt it just had to be customised to reflect me and my interests.  I’ll be honest, it’s only very slightly customised, and therew ill continue to be changes made to the site.  For now, however, the look and feel will evolve rather than face revolution; all my little widgets weork perfectly, and Geek With Laptop who came up with the concept deserves a whole heap of praise.
